Our main goal in all we do is to help our client’s increase IT service levels to their constituents and control IT costs. There are currently four core services the Technology Services Line of Business offers to accomplish this goal, they are summarized as follows:

These services encompass a wide range of strategic and tactical initiatives and are all encompassing in nature. They deliver IT management and administration, Infrastructure Management and support, 24/7/365 service levels, Network administration, Server administration, Desktop services and the like. These services are typically delivered in a full or supplemental outsourcing arrangement.

2. Consulting Services
IT Consulting Services utilize a rigid methodology and offer many IT disciplines. It is a knowledge base approach, addressing small to large scale initiatives available on a permanent, part time or “as needed” basis. All engagements are measured against and utilize the following phases, albeit not always in the order listed here, they are summarized as: Discovery, Design, Validation, Project Management, Execution, Quality Assurance, Documentation, Testing, Transition and Acceptance. By utilizing this process and the checks and balances incorporated into them all parties are ensured a successful outcome.
3. Project Services
IT Projects mostly entail technology refresh initiatives such as End of Life, End of Lease, and deployments of Network, Server, Desktop and Laptop technology. These services are offered and provided in conjunction with distributors, manufactures and clients alike.
4. Application Hosting
Because hosted services is a key offering provided by SSI, we maintain space and systems in one of the top data centers in Columbus, Ohio. Our facility combines carrier grade, always-on systems with a fully redundant network. The environmental features include up to 20,000 square feet of fully raised floor with redundant cooling systems, AC and DC battery plants, multiple entry points for grid power supply, a one megawatt generator with rapid response re-fuel contract and 24x7 monitored security. The fully redundant network infrastructure utilizes traffic engineering to blend capacity from a minimum of eight tier one carriers. Should any one carrier experience performance issues, traffic is automatically routed over the fastest available route.
Utilizing the above infrastructure, SSI offers customizable spaces and dedicated and non-dedicated hosting solutions. The most rigorous demands of the most sophisticated systems will be met by this facility. All applications are monitored and maintained by Sophisticated Systems using Service Level Based Contracts that will meet the needs of the business solution at hand. All SSI hosting environments are managed using ITIL standards and guidelines and include 24x7 monitoring supported by our Global Service Center helpdesk facility.
